Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SkyLike, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the service. Your continued use of SkyLike after any changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
2. Description of Service
SkyLike enables micro-donations through Bluesky likes. When a donor likes a post on Bluesky, a configurable amount is deducted from their balance and allocated to the creator of that post. SkyLike acts as an intermediary to facilitate these transactions and does not itself create or curate content on Bluesky.
3. User Accounts
SkyLike authenticates users through their Bluesky identity via the AT Protocol. You do not create a separate account with SkyLike — your Bluesky handle and DID serve as your identity. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Bluesky account and for all activity that occurs under your identity on SkyLike.
4. Donations and Payments
Funds added to your SkyLike balance are used to make micro-donations when you like posts on Bluesky. The per-like donation amount is configurable by you. All payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You acknowledge that each like you give while SkyLike is active will trigger a deduction from your balance at your configured per-like amount.
5. Fees
SkyLike charges a fee of 5% + €0.50 on each creator payout. There are no fees for donors — the full per-like amount you configure is allocated to the creator. Fees are deducted from the creator's payout at the time of disbursement. We may update our fee structure with reasonable notice.
6. Creator Payouts
Creator payouts are processed monthly on the 1st of each month. A minimum threshold of €5.00 in accumulated earnings is required before a payout is issued. If your earnings do not meet the minimum threshold, they will roll over to the following month and accumulate until the threshold is reached.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
If you unlike a post within 24 hours of liking it, the associated micro-donation will be reversed and the amount returned to your balance. Likes that remain active but whose associated donations have not been claimed by a registered creator will be refunded to your balance after 4 weeks. Once a payout has been processed to a creator, the associated donations are final and cannot be reversed.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using SkyLike, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The SkyLike name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of SkyLike. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent. Content posted on Bluesky remains the property of its respective creators — SkyLike does not claim any ownership over user-generated content.
10. Limitation of Liability
SkyLike is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall SkyLike be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SkyLike after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
